Uhubs pulls live KPI data directly from your CRM so that pipeline, revenue, win rate, and attainment figures appear automatically inside Insights — no manual exports, no data wrangling before workshops.
How the process works
CRM integration is typically completed as part of onboarding, however you can complete this process yourself too
What you'll need
Regardless of which CRM you use, the person completing the connection will need:
A uHubs account with admin access
Admin or API-level access to your CRM (to locate or generate the credentials below)
Your KPI calculations to hand - either a live report or written formulas
Connecting Salesforce
Credentials required
You will need three values from your Salesforce Connected App. These are entered in uHubs during the setup call.
Field in uHubs | What it is | Where to find it |
Client ID | Consumer Key from your Connected App | Salesforce Setup → App Manager → your app → View |
Client Secret | Consumer Secret from your Connected App | Same location as above |
Salesforce Instance URL | Your org's Salesforce URL | Your browser address bar when logged into Salesforce, e.g. |
Steps to connect
Log into uHubs and click uHubs Connect in the left navigation.
Select Salesforce from the list of available integrations.
Enter the Client ID, Client Secret, and Instance URL.
Click Save. uHubs will attempt to authenticate and confirm the connection is active.
Finding your Connected App credentials
If you haven't used Salesforce's Connected App before:
In Salesforce, go to Setup (gear icon, top right).
In the Quick Find search, type App Manager and open it.
Find your organisation's Connected App in the list — or ask your Salesforce administrator which app to use.
Click View on the app row.
The Consumer Key and Consumer Secret are shown on this screen. Copy them exactly, including any special characters.
If no Connected App exists for this integration, your Salesforce administrator will need to create one. The app requires OAuth 2.0 enabled with at least read access to opportunity and user data.
Connecting HubSpot
Credentials required
HubSpot uses a Private App token for authentication. You will also set a source name to identify this connection inside uHubs.
Field in uHubs | What it is | Where to find it |
Access Token | Private App token from HubSpot | HubSpot → Settings → Integrations → Private Apps |
Source Name | A label for this connection in uHubs | You choose this — e.g. |
Steps to connect
Log into uHubs and click uHubs Connect in the left navigation.
Select HubSpot from the list of available integrations.
Enter the Access Token and give the connection a Source Name.
Click Save. uHubs will confirm the connection is active.
Creating a HubSpot Private App
If one doesn't exist already:
In HubSpot, go to Settings (gear icon) → Integrations → Private Apps.
Click Create a private app.
Give it a name (e.g. uHubs Integration) and, on the Scopes tab, enable CRM read scopes — at minimum:
crm.objects.contacts.read,crm.objects.deals.read, andcrm.objects.owners.read.Click Create app. HubSpot will display the Access Token — copy it immediately, as it won't be shown in full again.
Use this token in uHubs Connect.
If your HubSpot account is managed by a third party, ask them to create the Private App and share the token with you. You do not need to share your main HubSpot login credentials.
