New to Uhubs? Start here. This article explains what the platform is, who uses it, and the core terms you'll come across.
What is Uhubs?
Uhubs is a sales performance and coaching platform. It connects your team's capabilities directly to revenue metrics like win rate and pipeline conversion, so you can see the reasons behind your revenue, not just the results. Instead of relying on gut feel, you get a clear, evidence-based picture of what each rep is good at, where they can grow, and where coaching will make the biggest difference.
Uhubs works in three stages:
Diagnose. Understand which capabilities are driving performance, and where the gaps are.
Improve. Turn that insight into a structured improvement programme, supported by human experts and AI assistants.
Track and scale. Embed Uhubs as an ongoing sales execution operating system, with continuous tracking of what's having the most impact on revenue.
Who uses Uhubs?
Uhubs has three types of user, and what you see depends on your role:
Team member (sometimes called a rep). An individual on a sales team. You complete your own reviews and work through any learning assigned to you.
Manager. You lead a team of reps. You review your people, read their reports, and use the insights in coaching conversations.
Admin. You set up and manage the platform, including adding people, launching reviews, and connecting other tools such as your CRM.
The foundation: the Pulse
Most of Uhubs is built around the Pulse. A Pulse is a paired review: a rep rates their own skills, their manager rates the same skills, and Uhubs brings both views together into scores and insights.
The skills sit under the RISE framework:
Revenue: activities that drive pipeline and close deals.
Impactful Behaviour: working effectively with colleagues and clients.
Strategy & Methodology: how you plan and approach your market.
Expert Knowledge: depth of product, industry, and customer understanding.
Each skill is called a capability. Where a rep rates themselves higher than their manager does, that gap is a blindspot. A blindspot isn't a sign of poor performance. It's a difference in perception, and a useful starting point for a coaching conversation.
Other things you may see
Uhubs has a range of features beyond the Pulse. Your account may include some or all of the following, depending on your plan and what your admin has turned on. If you don't see one, it isn't part of your setup.
Development and learning
Pathways: structured learning journeys, such as onboarding, made up of smaller groups of tasks. They can include videos, documents, activities, and quizzes.
Peer-to-peer matching: pairs reps so each person coaches the other in an area they're strong in, based on Pulse results.
Sales Velocity Plan: captures the development actions agreed with a manager and tracks progress against them over time.
Reports and insights
Individual report: a per-person view of capability scores, strengths, and development areas.
Team report: a manager's view of the whole team, including an executive summary, blindspot analysis, and standout high and low scores.
Blindspot analysis: highlights where someone's view of themselves differs most from their manager's view.
A-Player analysis: compares your strongest performers with the rest of the team to show which capabilities separate them.
Leaderboard: ranks reps by their overall Pulse score.
Calls and coaching
Call Analysis: insights drawn from reps' actual sales calls, showing patterns in how they perform.
Coaching Effectiveness dashboard: a leadership view of how well each manager coaches, alongside their results.
AI and connections
Manager assistant: an AI assistant you can connect to (for example, in Claude) that answers questions about your team using your Uhubs data.
CRM connection: links a tool like Salesforce or HubSpot so performance data flows into Uhubs automatically. Usually set up by an admin.
Most people start with the Pulse and explore the rest over time.
