Why Uhubs and 1:1s work together
A 1:1 meeting is most useful when it's grounded in data. Uhubs gives managers and reps a shared view of performance — Pulse competency scores, call behaviour, blindspots, development plan progress — so you can spend your 1:1 time on what actually matters, rather than trying to recall how things went last quarter.
Preparing for a 1:1 as a Manager
Before a 1:1, review your rep's Individual Rep Report in Uhubs. It shows:
Competency scores across the RISE pillars — which areas are strong, which need attention
Blindspots — areas where the rep's self-assessment significantly differs from how others see them
Call behaviour data (if call analysis is enabled) — how they're performing on real calls versus their competency benchmarks
Development progress — what development actions they've completed since your last meeting
Use this data to set a clear agenda: one or two focus areas, evidence to support the conversation, and a proposed next step.
If you ask the same questions in everyone 1:1, you can set up templates - get in touch with your Uhubs CSM to set up.
Preparing for a 1:1 as a Rep
The Uhubs AI assistant can help you prepare. You can ask it to walk you through your latest Pulse scores, explain what your blindspots mean, or help you think through a specific deal or skill area before the meeting. The assistant only ever shows you your own data — nothing is shared with your manager through the assistant.
During the 1:1
A data-grounded 1:1 typically covers:
Progress check — what development actions has the rep completed? What's still in progress?
Score review — are scores trending in the right direction since the last Pulse?
One coaching focus — based on the data, agree on the single most important area to work on before the next meeting
Next steps — specific, agreed actions (a Pathway to complete, a Role-Play to practice, a deal to debrief)
After the 1:1
Update the rep's PDP with any new actions agreed in the meeting. If a new skill gap emerged during the conversation, note it so it can be reflected in the next Pulse or coaching plan.
