Understanding Your Sales Velocity Plan (SVP)

What your SVP is, how it's created from your Pulse results, and how to use it to build your sales skills.

What is a Sales Velocity Plan?

You Sales Velocity Plan is a structured set of goals and actions created specifically for you, based on your Pulse results and competency scores. Think of it as your personalised roadmap for growing as a sales professional.

Rather than generic training, your SVP focuses on the specific areas where you have the most opportunity to improve — so your development time is well spent.

How is my SVP created?

Your SVP is generated using your Pulse data. After your Pulse is complete, Uhubs analyses your competency scores across the RISE framework (Resilience, Influence, Selling, Execution) and identifies your key development areas.

Your manager may then review and refine the plan before it becomes visible to you. SVP can also be updated over time as new Pulse data comes in.

How to access your SVP

  1. Log in to Uhubs at app.uhubs.co.uk

  2. Click Pulse in the left-hand navigation.

  3. The Team ranking tab opens by default.

  4. Reps with an SVP show a status label (e.g. SVP: Approved (v3)) and two buttons: Download SVP and View SVP.

What you'll see

Your SVP typically includes:

  • Focus areas — the RISE competencies identified as priorities for you

  • Goals — specific, measurable outcomes to work towards

  • Actions — concrete steps you can take to build each skill

  • Resources — any Pathways or content your manager has linked to help you

Using your SVP in 1:1s

Your SVP is designed to be a living document. Bring it to your 1:1 conversations with your manager to track progress, update your goals, and discuss any support you need. The more actively you engage with it, the more value you'll get.
